Health

PREVENTION OF HEALTH RISKS

Health and safety risks are evaluated and taken into account to offer the best possible prevention and protection to our workers. Such evaluations take into account for example, the choice of work equipment, the chemical substances handled, and hazards of reactions being carried etc.

Our prevention program seeks to avoid risks wherever possible, otherwise to:

Evaluate all steps in our process to identify possible health risks
Combat risks at the source
Replace the dangerous processes with safer alternative methods
Create a healthy work environment and thus reduce the need for specific protection devices
Ensure personnel are properly trained

We have in place a health surveillance plan, which is designed for each worker on the basis of the specific risk assessment for his/her job function. Each worker receives health surveillance by the company’s doctor at regular intervals and on demand.

Safety

Safety unconditionally ranks number 1 in our values. Our attention to safety dates back to the beginning when our founder established and operated civil explosives manufacturing plants. This attention to safety has been further reinforced as we added other hazardous processes to our technology portfolio. We are committed to preventing injuries, accidents and ill health by providing a safe and healthy workplace for our employees and our community.

Environment

3A Chemie is committed to better preserving the environment and preventing pollution by minimizing waste, maximizing material reuse through recycling and the efficient use of resources.

Air emissions Gases & emissions of all reactors are conveyed to scrubbers for neutralization / absorption. The scrubbing solution is further treated at our effluent treatment plant.

Liquid wastes We have a well-equipped effluent treatment plant consisting of primary, secondary and tertiary treatments. The treatments consists of chemical-physical and biological treatments of the liquid effluent. The effluent is recycled to the maximum extent. The company is member of Butibori CETP (Common Effluent Treatment Plant).

Solid wastes Solid wastes Solid wastes are transferred to an authorized waste collection/disposal facility. This facility is a member of CHWTSD, Butibori, Nagpur.
